I just put a second HDD back into my XP box and it's working fine. My master HDD is formatted FAT32. I formatted the slave as NTFS hoping to utilize the file security features, but this doesn't seem to work. Is there a way to do this? It seems like you can only secure files/folders in XP when they're part of "MY" documents and settings. -K

The system root has to have the same file system as the files in order for the security to work.
You have to convert your primary drive over to NTFS also if you want to use the security features.
