How can I email a photo in the body of my message rather than as an attachment? I have MGI Photosuite and Photo Deluxe business edition, and would like to scan or send file photos.

open the pictures in whatever software you use and copy it and then paste it right into the email, I think though that some email accounts won't accept incoming mail like that.

And depending on the size of the pic and your ISP some won't send them either (many places have a 1MB or so cap on the size of an email...basically if it won't fit on a floppy then it is too big)

If you are using OutlookExpress; note that the format must be set to RTF for the pic to appear in the body of the eMail. Then place the cursor where you want the pic and use Insert<>Picture and browse for the pic file. You can also set a pic as background (like stationery) from the format menu as long as you are still using rtf format. BTW and IMHO it is generally best to use .jpg and .gif picture files for such communications.

How this will appear on your contact's pc is another matter depending on which eMail application they are using and what it's settings are. If the sender and receiver use different set ups these pics, etc. may be converted into attachments at the other end. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/wink.gif
