View Full Version : Need Major Help here !!!
I screwed something up bad!! I have a dual boot system on my computer. I have Win98se on the “C” partition and Win XP on the “D” partition. I just defraged my C drive, and now when I reboot and try to go to the C drive, I get “Invalid system disk – Replace the disk, and then press any key” I can’t get to Win98. I can boot to WinXP and everything seems to be working fine. How or what do I have to do to get back my C drive? I need major help here!

Do you have a disc in the A drive?

Double posting want fix your problem for one thing!
Get a boot disk, hit f8 on bootup, choose the 98se partition and hit safemode, then go to command prompt, put the boot disk in a type in sys c:
See if that dont do it.
If you dont have a boot disk go to www.bootdisk.com (http://www.bootdisk.com) and make one.
