Hi,
Can any one give me any help with setting up a dual boot system between
Win 2k server and Win '98? At the moment I have two hard disks,
the master has 2k server on it and is formatted with NTFS, I then
plugged in a disk as slave that had previously been in the machine as master with '98 already installed on FAT32, hoping that Win '98 would magically appear in the default OS menu in 'Start up and Recovery', sadly not! I can access the '98 system from 2k fine. It would be good if I could create a dual boot system without having to re-install either of the OS's but not essential.
Thanks!

The best sort of application you can use for that sort of stuff is Partition Magic.
Brilliant. I have never used it with NTFS and FAT32 but I would of thought that in order for you to access Win98 from Win2K you would have to be on the same file format?!

Anyway, if you can do it, then great for you.

What you need to do is add the windows drive to your NT loader Boot.ini
Then you can dual boot with out making any changes to the partitions or formats.

BTW.. Partition Magic is of no use unless you want to change the size of your partitions,
It has Nothing to do with Dual Booting.
