Annoying message

How do I get rid of this message which pops up everytime I switch on the PC?

"C:\Windows\System\sb16snd.drv requires a newer version of Creative Interface Manager. Please install the latest version of CIFMAN.DLL in the Windows System directory."

a) Sound and Multimedia systems are working properly
b) there is no sb16snd.drv in Windows System
c) Google has nothing on Creative Interface Manager (except the two-legged variety)

Just a thought. Have you tried updating your soundcard drivers before or after reinstalling your soundcard?
