where are norton anti virus data files stored?

justr hoing you guys whould know ... im wondering where NAV virus files updates arestored in the hard drive. i cant seem to distinguish them in the NAV directory. i wanna copy em to the other computer since my net connection is down.

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\VirusDefs

The best thing to do is copy the downloaded DAT file to the second computer and run it. The installation will put the files where they belong.

but which is the dat file? i went there and saw folders "2000137.8" etc etc and ther ewere plenty of dat files that cant be run.

am imissing out something?
