Can someone please tell me how I can create a hot key that will start my screen saver?
I want to create this hot key on two different computers. One system has NT 4.0, the other Windows XP Home Edition.

Try this
right click on the program file and see if under properties it has the option for a short cut key.
I'm not sure if screen savers have shortcut options since I don't use them.

Hello Joseph,
Affraid I don't have a straight answer for you http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/frown.gif , but i do have a little theory.
It seems to me that hitting a key to start a screensaver would not work, as it is designed to function due to the lack of input.
I am not sure how you set up your HotKey functions, but it should give you the option to point it to the desired file. Just select your prefered file and give it a try. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/cool.gif
Anybody else??

"Hotkeys" are made by macros (http://www.hot-keyboard.com/).
and there is a free utility here (http://www.freedownloadscenter.com/Utilities/Mouse_and_Keyboard_Utilities/OnHand.html).
note: page takes a long time to load*
