Open the case on A Compaq Presario 7598?

How do i open the case on this machine. Opening compaq cases are like retrieving artifacts from the temple of doom!

So you're saying you can't get the sides off by unscrewing some screws in the back of the case? If so, try to remove the front panel. It might just pop off. Then look for screws that hold the sides on. Good luck.

Both appear to be impossible. The compaq website doesn't have any instructions.

For any Compaq I would use the TNT http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/wink.gif.But realy,you do pull the front off.On the bottom,behind the feet there is a small plastic lip.Hold the case with one hand while lifting up on the lip.If it's the frist time the case has been opened,it will,more than likely make a loud POP,,don't worry you did'nt break it http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/wink.gif.When the front is off you will find 2 or 4 small screws that hold the sides on http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/wink.gif.
