frequent and spontaneous color change of the monitor

The color of my monitor changes spontaneously and frequently.
What could be the cause.

Usually that's a bad connection at the video card. Wiggle the monitor cable where it plugs into the video card, and if it changes, it's a bad connection. I have a monitor that does the same.
