ok ya see my system below ...i have some game that might work better with 98se...so i wanted to buy another 40 g w\d and install 98se on that ...how do i got about that leaving my XP where it is without reinstalling xp...

The suggestion by HiredGoonz will probably work.
However, I would not run a multiple OS system without using Partition Magic, which includes a Utility called Boot Magic. I am told that System Commander is also a good product for this purpose.
I have used Partition Magic for 10 or more years. It is a wonderfull product. I use it on systems which only have one OS because I use multiple partitions to keep my data better organized. I often create new ones or resize existing partitions.
