Hi. My name is Ted...
Oh this ISN'T PCholics Anonymous? Sorry...

I'm using W98 and I am trying to clean up my desktop. Somehow rather than a shortcut, I have WinMX's program being stored on the desktop. I have tried drag and drop from there and by clicking on My computer and going up one level and dragging from there. Neither one works.

I looked in program download files and everything for WinMX is in there except the mother program which is stuck on the desktop. It is somewhere around 1.5 megs in size and nothing in download files in MX is anywhere near that size.

I suppose as a last resort I can go to the site and redownload the whole thing but this is more fun.

Thanks for trying to &/or helping.

BTW Happy Easter Everyone!

Hi Ted,

Right click on the little rascal, select "cut" from the menu.
Open the folder that you wish to move it to, right click inside the folder and select "paste" from the menu.

It should move that way.

Thank You,
I had right clicked on it before and noticed that 'send to' wasn't the way and using the 'Zip to' wasn't either. Never thought to try cut and paste. It did the trick.
