Hello and Welcome to the PC guide Forums.
You don't state which version of Word and Excel you are running, but in Word97, if you open the insert picture menu and go to the Advanced button, the default search path can be set to wherever you want. Not absolutely certain about Excel, but I think its the same.

In Word2000 GoTo Tools<>Options<>FileLocations and select "Clipart Pictures" and then click Mofify and enter the path that you want to use as default. The original default setting is blank but, in that case, appears to use the "My Picures" Folder. So another way would be to cut and paste the "My Pictues" Folder to where you want it to reside on disk. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif
Although it says Clipart Pictures this doesn't affect the Clipart Gallery that is displayed when you want to use "Insert Clipart". Customising the Clipart Gallery is a bit more elaborate.
I haven't been able to find an equivalent FileLocations in Excel2000 but I wouldn't be surprised if there is a registry tweak to allow this customisation. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/wink.gif
