I bwoke my wittle speaker

I accidentally destroyed my little case speaker, you know, the one that beeps. In the past I've found the beeps helpful. I read somewhere that you can make your sound card do the same thing. Does anyone know how?

I tried to buy a new one and found it only at Directron for $5, but there was a $10 minimum, and about $9 more for shipping. Nineteen dollars seemed a bit steep.

Look at the magnet on it, it should have an Ohms rating (4 or 8), then go to Radio shack and grab a small 2" speaker with that same rating........

But just about any small size speaker will work, some are just better suited (size thickness...etc) and some will have leads others just terminals.

Or you can grab one from an old machine.
