For about 2 weeks now, when I go to shutdown or restart I
get A Fatal Exception OE has occurred at 0028:FF0020B3 in
VxD USBD(01)+00000273 or 0028:FF001653 in VxD USBD(01)+

What are Fatal Exception Errors (http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q150/3/14.asp?LN=EN-US&SD=gn&FR=0) might give you some good info, I can't find any specifics on the MSKB about the error message.

A search for USBD turns up lots of hits and most refer to USBD being related to USB driver support in Windows CE. Again, nothing that would help with your problem.

Fatal Exception Errors can be a bear to figure out, takes patience and some digging. Stay tuned, other folks may have more info.

If you had everything...Where would you put it?

Assuming that you're using Windows 98, look in Windows Help for Windows 98 Troubleshooters. There's one for Startup and Shutdown. You might be able to fix it from there.

I got it fixed. I have a recovery disc with my computer.
I had to to put everything I had on floppy disk. And unstall
everything and start all over again. It works!
