hi there,
Can anyone guide me through this:
Firstly I use a IWill KK266-R Mobo I do not use the Raid and I am not interested in using Raid I just wanted to take advantage of the 4 IDE Connectors present 2 of are ATA-100 only. MY HD is a IBM ATA-100 7200 rpm 40 gig. My System had to be configured to run non Raid with a Floppy that came with the Mobo called a "Hyperdisk" my aim is to install one of my older HD 6.5 gig 5400 rpm ATA-33 I have a ATA-100 PCI Controller that is backward compatible with Ultra ATA/66/33 I have no problems installing the PCI card but then Windows requests the "Hyperdisk" my PCI Controller came with Floppy for Drivers but I have no clue on what to do when Windows requests the Hyperdisk I don't want to stuff up my whole system as it runs like a charm otherwise. I don't want to fork out $ for a new ATA-100 HD not yet anyway.
Can anyone guide me through the process ??

It sounds as though your PCI Controller Card needs to have drivers which are present on your "Hyperdisk" floppy.

When the dialoge window comes up requesting the drivers what does it say? Does it request that you insert disk?

Also, would help to know how you've set things up with your IDEs. Would you provide info on what you have connected as Master, Slave etc?
