Hello,
I have Iomega Internal Zip 250 ATAPI Drive. Everytime I put over 150 mb's on the zip, the zip disk frezzes. It frezzes when I go to check what is on the zip 250 mb disk. This happeneds to all my zip 250 mb disks. I tryed to format my zip 250 mb disks but that didn't work. I also tryed to name my zip disks. I have seven 250 mb zip disks all together. I also downloaded the update for my driver and that didn't work either. How do i stop it from frezzing?
Another thing that happened is that when i place a zip 250 mb disk with stuff on it in my zip drive and use the button on the drive to take it and then put another disk in and see how much space i used on it ,it shows the same amount of space used on the other disk that i placed in before. I called the support at iomega and they told me to eject the disk by right clicking on the drive and that works but why doesn't the other way work? My specs of my computer are:
60 gb hard drive
Genuinel Intel
Intel Celeron Processor 399mhz
384 ram
I have windows 98 second edition.
I am upgrading my cpu to 700mhz, will that help?
Any one have any suggestions or answers to my question? How do i fix my zip drive?
