Hello all,
I wonder if anyone can give me any advice on this. I've been given a compaq deskpro. Its an ex-business one.It works fine, exept when it starts up I get the message unable to load dynamic link library novellnp.dll.One of the files needed to run this application cannot be found. Some or all of the following feature is n/a : novell netware.
Click OK to finish loading windows.
I know the company used novell netware, but this has been uninstalled.
Can anyone offer any advice on how I might get around this without formatting the hd.I dont really want to do that as(a)The pc has no Cd,although I could fit one ok and b)I'm concerned that I have no compaq specific driver disks for the hard disk, etc.
Any advice most appreciated!
Best wishes to all.....
Ray

Follow these steps to remove Client32 (Novell Network client)

To completely uninstall the NW client follow these steps:

1. Run UNC32.EXE from the Start/Run menu of the Windows95/98 workstation. This file can be found in the ADMIN folder located in the same folder where the client was installed.
2. Delete the C:\NOVELL\CLIENT32 directory.
3. Reboot the workstation with no client.

Step 3 maybe the one left out by whomever had this workstation last.

To check open control panel and click the "network" icon. Now choose "services" and remove any "client for Netware..." entry.

Hope this helps.
