Hi Ian. Not surprised these file are Buried! Look at c:windows\applicationdata\identities\(random numbers &letters)\microsoft\outlookexpress\ *.dbx. The messages are stored in *.DBX files, so copy them to your Cd. To restore, choose import in Outlook Express and point it at your backup files. This advice assumes that you have only one user identity set up. If you have multiple users, they all have their own set of files. Use Find in the start menu if you can't find them any other way. Hope that helps.

Another way of locating the Store Folder is:-
Tools<>Options<>Maintenance and click on [Store Folder]
You can also click on [Change] and move it somewhere else; and give the folder a meaningful name if you want. This is particularly useful if you want to use the same store folder for two OSes on a dual-boot setup.
BTW; those CapsLocks are a bit hard on the old eyes.
