Go here, World of window's networking (http://www.wown.com)-the only drawback to using DCC is that it's one way. You can only transfer data from host to guest, if you really want to network then you'll have to go with an ethernet setup { cat5 cabling & network cards }.

Haven't done this in a while but here (http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Heights/5704/dcc1.html) is some more advice (as if you hadn't enough to go on already). http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif

When I first did this the hardest things to setup were the network configurations; and also I found the IPX/SPX protocols were the easiest to use. Another tip (once you get setup) is that you can map the connection so that it shows up in Explorer.

Like iisbob intimated you don't get a true network; but at least it is cheap to setup. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/wink.gif

Although this may be stating the obvious; you will need to setup DCC etc. the same on both computers and give them both names to be recognised on the "network"; best to use the same workgroup/domain name on both.
