Win 2k System Admins! Help!!!

Thanks in advance for your inputs!!! my problem is that some idiot, well not quite because the idiot seems to be me, did something to my computer and now it would allow me to configure my modem. When I do to "Phone and Modem Options" in the "Control Panel", the "Region" thing doesn't show up so i just can't get past that dialog box. The collapsible list under the "Region" thing is simply empty! Thanks again!!!

What I think you're saying is that you entered the wrong regional information in this applet and now the option doesn't show up like it did the firt time. I hope this is correct. If so, you can change that information by editing the location in the first screen that comes up after going into phone and modem options.

oh, no! this is more serious than that! basically, i think he did "accidently" modify the registry and now the collapsible list under the "Region" thing in the "Phone and Modem Options" is simply empty! other words? how would you screw another administrator and stop him/her from adding a modem knowing that he has administrative privilege to access everything, all of the management consoles. i think that there is a setting in the registry that basically allow your wizard to initialize but that setting got screwed in this case! at any rate thanks for trying!!!
