Hi everyone...I need some help with my printer, it is an HP deskjet 832C and I have windows XP. My printer does not print correctly. When I print stuff off of the net the right side is sometimes cut off and the whole text slants a little, I did a printer alignment wizard but it did not seem to help as it was confusing. I really need to correct this problem, HELP!!
thanks in advance!

Web pages very often are much wider than what you can put on 8 1/2" wide paper. Have you tried setting your printer software to print in "landscape mode" rather than the default portrait?

If not, do File / Print/ Then Properties, there should be a checkbox so you can tell it to print in "landscape" mode.

Slanted print? Hmmmm, is the paper feeding through straight?

If you only need the text from a webpage and not the entire thing, graphics and all, here's how I do it and it works great.

Highlight the beginning of the text, scroll to the end, hold down [Shift] and click behind the last word you want to print. This highlights all text to that point.

Right click inside the highlighted area and click Print, in the Print box that comes up click the radio button beside Selection then click OK. That tells the printer to only print the highlighted text and not the entire webpage.

I print out a lot of computer info using this method and have never had any problems with it at all, and don't waste toner on graphics I don't need. It also works for tables, such as hard drive spec sheets etc, it usually keeps them in their original locations, and sometimes the borders will print too.

With slanted print and the sides cut off I think your problem sounds like drivers. Check the HP site or driverguide (http://www.driverguide.com) for the newest drivers you can find.

Obviously check that the paper is being fed properly!

Adjust the sliders in the paper tray so they are a perfect fit. To far in either directins could cause paper to be fed at a slight angle causing the problem above

Jacko may have hit the "slant" problem...we were trying to help a friend with a printer problem via email and were totally baffled. It turned out to be just the slider settings that was causing one side of page to sort of crumple up during printing.

I have the 810C, and I do what Pete suggested except that I also, after clicking on Selection, go and click on Econofast (my husband's HP calls that "draft" for less ink used), and then also on double sided to save paper and "bulk" in all the stuff we print off the Net and save for future reference. And just to cover all bases, on the same page with the print quality is the setting that says 8.5x11 paper..you might check that just to be sure.
