In interested to learn if there’s a best source for getting answers to troubleshooting questions, like the one’s noted below? Not looking for the answers here, just a good source to pursue these and other isues.
Thanks in advance!

Your in WIN95, an application stops. What do you do?

Problem getting WIN up. What is the simplest way to get into WIN with minimal effort?

What files are not needed to properly boot WIN95?

What tool/command in WIN95 can you check IP address?

You install Front Page Express from (where)?

How do you determine system WIN password and network password?

If your a Professional my answer would be Microsoft Technet.
If your a home user my answer is the Microsoft Knowledge base.

IMHO these are the *best* sources of information about all Windows products.

The second best place for NT/2000 Info (IMHO) is the Windows2000 magazine web site. This one is only any good if you have a subscription. Without a subscription your locked out of some of the better articles.

BOOKS! Check around at resale shops, libraries, and bookstores, and get books on A+ testing. These are questions that will be covered in those books. Also check some of the A+ testing related sites on the net, might be good info there.

And of course, the M$ sources scada mentioned are also top notch.

And I'll post answers here too if you want, I can answer most without much trouble, several others here can too. That's what we're here for...

Soon as I come up with all the answers...they change the questions!!

Sounds like my room...

2 boxes of books, including 2 A+ study guides, about 5 DOS manuals from 3.3 to 6.22, 3 or 4 windows user's manuals, IRC user's guide, 2 BASIC programming books, one GW Basic user's manual, 4 loose leaf folders of printed info off the net etc. Read the BASIC books, can't understand it to save my life...

Computers:
XT: 3, all working, one is dual floppy only.
286: dead http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/frown.gif NEC 286 that may one day be revived...
386: 2, both working, need bigger hard drives
486: waiting to be revived (need a reason) http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
686@133: awaiting a decent hard drive, otherwise runs great
Packard Bell Legend100 CD P-60 w/ win3.11: best $2 I ever spent
3 boxes of parts, ranging from CGA video cards and 8 bit printer cards to PCI video card & ISA NIC's, ancient IBM keyboards, CGA & VGA monitors, empty cases...

Hours on the net searching for info...incalculable...the webpage posted below is only a partial list of the links in Favorites, collected over the past 2 years.
