I am trying to find out how to input hi8 videos from my Sony ccd-trv87 camcorder into my Sony VAIO pcv-rx550, edit the video and copy the finished video to a cd . The Camcorder is about 2 years old it has an "s" video jack. I checked with my local retailer and was told to purchase a new digital camcorder in order to make transfers to my computer. Does anyone have another option for me? Usually there is more than one way to skin a cat.
