Hi.
I have problem of booting from floppy.
When i insert the boot floppy in the - A: drive and restart my computer,
it dos not boot from floppy.
When i wont to boot from CD ,i change cmos settings ''boot sequence'' to -
cdrom, and it helps.I have no problem with booting with cd support.
but when i change "boot sequence" to A, it dos not works.
Olso i find another thing, when i'm booted from cd support and go from A:\
to B:\ and tipe - dir ,it shows me the files that are stored on my floppy. So
i guess that drive A: is drive B: on my computer. But i have no letter B in
"boot sequence".
please tell me whot is my mystake. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/rolleyes.gif

When you boot from a CD-rom drive
it becomes the A: drive
displacing the floppy A: drive to b:

When you change the boot order in the bios to A: first .
You should also find and enable Boot Floppy Seek in the bios.

Hi Sharifat.Thank you.
I think you are tolking about :"Swap floppy drive" -- if you can set this feature to Enabled, Then, the first drive will be mapped as drive B: and the second drive, mapped as drive A:; which is the opposite of the usual convention.
OK.
But it don't solve my problem, the letter is same:
"Non-System disk or disk error
Replace and strike any key when ready."
After taking the floppy from drive and striking any key, booting of win ME follows as usually.
