sound problem

Hi to all! just new in this site. Just have some minor problem.
My daughter just downloaded a new pc game, the sound is distorted/slow. But everytime I open my other pc games(battle realms or nba2001) then quit to start my daughter's pc game, the sound becomes OK. Is there a problem w/ the new pc game's driver? how can I solve it? Thank you in advance and more power to all of you !!!

Try uninstalling and then reinstalling - there could have been a problem with the original installation.

When does the problem occur? In the game? In the intro movie? Options menu? etc..

I already re-installed the game and problem still exists. the voice/sound hiccup or slow during intro and while playing. Thanks!

ok, we need to get a little further into this one!

We'll need the following information:

- Complete spec of your system where possible (must include Sound Chip/Sound card)

- What game is causing the problem

- Is it the only game

- Does it happen on anything other than games eg. Movie files.

Athlon 1.1, 128ram, 32mb nvdia video card, built-in soundcard,20g hdd, windows ME

- What game is causing the problem
Blues clues 123, blues clues reading time, amazing animals - not ok
Battle realms , nba live, red alert - ok


Blues clues 123, blues clues reading time, amazing animals - ok only after playing Battle realms , nba live and red alert. For the mean time, my daughter starts battle realms then quit and start blues' clues so as to make the sound ok.

- Does it happen on anything other than games eg. Movie files.
problem happen only in games.
