VeriSign has been tricked

According to MS a patch should be available shortly, but then again another good reason to keep up on your software updates.

Thanks for the heads up, I sent a notice to everyone in my address book. I never sent out mass emails, and never pass on hoaxes or scams, like many of the so-called virus alerts, until I check them out. But this could be real trouble if actually used. I certainly won't be using any install on demand programs in the near future.

Anyone concerned about possible problems with this can open Internet Explorer and go to Tools\Internet Options then the Advanced tab and UNCHECK the box that says Enable Install on Demand Then IE will not allow any programs to be automatically installed at all. I recommend this atleast until Microsoft can write and release a patch. I just did it, by the way. I don't see any reason to take any chances...
