how do put my mouse back together

my daughter spilled soda on my mouse and keyboard so i decided to clean them really clean them but i was unaware that you dont need to actually take out the screw to the mouse so i took it completly apart and now i cant get it back together all i need is some sort of picture to see what its supposed to look like its a compaq mouse left and right clicks and inbetween the scroll thing and the scroll thing is what i need to fix it feel out befor i saw how it looked and is now in 3 pieces a wire thing the actual scroll wheel and a black piece i know i could by a new mouse but if anyone could help i'd much rather fix it my self it has got to be simple to fix it works fine except i cant scroll now please help

These mouse are a cheapy that a little misalignments of electronic contacts will give more headache than cure. I once opened my mouse not knowing that to clean it, only the ball should be removed, and I can't make it work flawlessly.
