reinstalling IIS in win 2k

thanks in advance, my problem is that after i reinstall iis from my machine, from "add/remove windows components", i can't get it to start. i think the uninstall wasn't thorough, so how to you remove it completely from your machine, because the uninstall from "add/remove windows components" doesn't seem to work. anyways thanks again!

You may need to enter the registry and completely remove all refernces to the internet info service. Or get the lateset one from MS and install it over your old install.
