i originaly had win me i loved it but a friend insisted hed install better programs including win 2000 professional--i know nothing about it --- i tried doing the msconfig but that doesnt do anything how do i get to stop everything from staring up atomaticaly i disscvered if i go to task manager and then process i can end tasks but what is supposed to be left running? somewhere i saw some one sent a link with the expplaination of what everything is that run in the back groung i have 25 things listed is that normal ? and alot of them wont let me end the process i have seen a lot of people say only one or two actually need to be there is there away to stop them permenatly or do just close them ever time i turn on the the computer
