Remote Assistance

I am running a two computers with xp, they are networked together, is it possible to use remote assistance on my lan?

I believe you'll have to have some kind of client software such as PCanywhere, or you can use Netmeeting now what version of XP are you running here? and what windows are you trying to connect to? This is not an easy answer so I would suggest going here first and reading this
