I've downloaded this program but windows doesn't recognize it as an executable. In fact, windows doesn't seem to be able to associate it with any application at all. How do I get it to run?

I use CPUCool. Like it a lot. Downloaded this
program, un-zipped it, sent everything to C:\Windows\Programs.

Clicked on CPUCool.exe and did the installation. CPUCool
shows in the task bar, right clicked on it and chose configuration.

Good to go. System temperature reads 32C and CPU reads 35C.
Might add I chose - forced Athlon cooling - in configuration.

If you can't get the .exe to work for you maybe the thing to do
is un-install at Add/Remove programs and download this program
again from one of their mirror sites if possible. Seems like the
mirror site I used came out of Germany.

is this a directory you created yourself dog?

C:\Windows\Programs

Or did you actually mean C: program files?

The only folder created was C http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/tongue.gifrogram files/unzipped/CPUcool. After unzipping, the file icon still looked the sdame as it did before unzipping. (White sheet with windows logo and folded corner) I'm beginning to wonder if it unzipped at all. There is no executable showing anywhere as yet and no installation has been performed. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/frown.gif
