Hey Tof,
I have the EXACT same problem as you and i have been posting for a week and I also have an AMD processor and motherboard. So if anything turns up...please reply....

This is what some have told me...
-Try checking if your ram is good
-check your bios settings are correct
-remove all peripherals except graphics card and ram (processor of course)

When my computer boots up...sometimes it displays your error message or "VTD device initialization failure. You must restart your computer now."

When i installed my windows 98 and it restarted to run windows for the first time...it start that reboot loop...reply if you get it solved...thanks

nasic: Check around in the forums, I looked up the VTD message, and posted a link to the MSKB. It refers to a virtual timing device.
