And here I was about to make fun of you for what I thought was an obvious and amusing typo. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/wink.gif

I can't tell if this guy is serious or not--I think he's actually highly intelligent, doing some kind of spoof of all the "illiterate dork" web pages that are out there...but I'm not positive about that. He might just be a prolific, illiterate dork.

I think he's actually very intelligent. You don't figure out how to set up a webpage like his without having some smarts. Backspace to the jeffk in the address and check out the rest of the page...he's pretty good with flash too...

http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif i havent read anything quite as funny as that....
It seems obviously satirical to me. I especially love all the comments about how he split all his stuff into multiple pages to get more ad banners, and then the last page which has nothing on it but a taunt and an ad banner. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif
I sometimes get criticized myself for having my pages "too split up", though I try to do it in a logical way to make the material easier to digest. I hate when I go to a site and they have stuff like "Specifications Part 1, Part 2, Part 3" and each page has one paragraph on it... not too subtle there... http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif

Know what you mean. I also enjoyed all the references he made to "mak mor moneys"...the whole thing is a very well done spoof.
Incredible, if you've backspaced through the address to get into the rest of the site, the entire thing is like that, and judging by his picture the guy's about 14 years old. He's done some very nice work with Flash multimedia, and I'd almost bet he wrote all the HTML himself instead of using a WYSIWYG editor like Front Page. (I'm doing good to set up a plain jane site with Front Page...) I can write a hyperlink and direct geocities or dreamwater to the folder where I store pictures, and can copy & paste meta tags, but that's about the extent of my knowledge of HTML. If a picture won't show up it takes me a half hour of staring at the HTML to figure out that the .JPG should be .jpg...and I have one site that's all pictures. (No, not porno, get your mind out of the gutter...let mine float by...) It's a nightmare when I upload and update it, always have 10-20 pictures that refuse to show up. Keeps me busy for hours...
I think this guy's doing quite well. The entire site is hilarious. Think I'll go back and look at the cartoons tonight...haven't checked them out yet.

www.somethingawful.com (http://www.somethingawful.com) has been source of lots and lots of funnies. No suprise they would come up with this. These people are like the tabloids.. they know what is going on, and they decide to make up stuff to make it sound funnier yet. If you read the column on their main page about how to soup of a car... lol, I loved that one.
