hey charles i have been thinking abt an
unrealistic,ridiculous and ambitious idea that
i have: u can open a cafe for computer geeks
who are registered members of this forum.
A place where the members can get together just
like this forum . yeah u can name it the "after
hours club" cafe . it'll have a fire place too
and wooden tables and sofas, like an old english
house ..hmm...can imagine how cosy it would be.
of course normal customers are welcome too .
members could identify themselves by their
handle so that we all know who is he/she.
kinda fun http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

why i have this idea ? i've been thinking that
maybe the members would be interested in meeting
the real pple who had help them with their
problems and its a great way to make tons of
friends(i mean real friends, not virtual) of
the same kind : computer geeks ..oops i mean
computer enthusiasts http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/tongue.gif

haha ... pls do not take me seriously . i must
have been fantasizing too much . nevetheless i
just couldn't keep this thought to myself cuz
it might actually be a nice concept after all http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

ps : i probably won't be able to visit this cafe
cuz i stay too far away http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/tongue.gif

Actually, that would be pretty cool. I've met people in person that I'd known via the Internet for up to 1 1/2 years, in chatrooms. Always enjoyed it quite well. It's quite a different story when you meet someome in person who you've known for a while, but only by typing, no voice or picture to go by. Even when you hear a voice without a picture, you form a mental image, and the actual person rarely fits that image.

Guess I was lucky, the people I met were all very nice folks, but as I said, we'd known each other for a long time, and had an idea what everyone would be like beforehand. None of the idiots were invited, people who tend to be abusive or harrassing, just the regular folks who got along, and considered themselves friends. The ones who tended to be abusive were never allowed to stick around long in the chatrooms anyway. Someone was always at the helm to boot their tails outta there...

If you had everything...Where would you put it?
