that we were visited by none other than Dr. Tom Pabst of Tom's Hardware fame? Or was I reading too much into a name? Check out this link and decide for yourself (I did notice the site on his signature was of racing nature and not Tom's Hardware) http://www.pcguide.com/ubb/Forum9/HTML/000271.html

HMMM...never even thought about it, but after cruising on over to tom's hardware and checking the copyright info at bottom, now I wonder. Could be the same guy, but what in the world would someone with his apparent computer knowledge be doing lurking around here asking questions, instead of his own forums, where from a quick look it seems there are some pretty good folks browsing about, and a search for his name turns up zilch?
And with a website like that how would he ever find time to browse around elsewhere? All I do is moderate here, and try to answer where I can, and I spend a lot of time on these forums, (you don't wanna know...) and have very little online time available for much else, since it sometimes takes me 30 minutes or more to dig up info for some posts. PLus trying to find info on problems with my machine. (Recent IFP's or GPF's in MSHTML, Kernel32...thinking about a format/reinstall, since I never have thought this install was all that solid anyway.)
Maybe someone else with the same name, or maybe he goes by a different nick in his own forums?
Food for thought I guess...

Yeah Pete I think it probably was not "The" Dr. Tom Pabst...but to throw a kink in the system maybe he's thinking about doing a review of Help Forums OK that was for laughs http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif

Well, if bassvav is right, and, if I wasn't working solo, and had someone or somepeople to work web-sites, this is what how I would check a Help site.
Hope you get a GOOD review! I've never been steered wrong here.
Good Luck!
