I stumbled across this site about a week ago and it seems like a great place to get computer advice and meet some pretty nice folks. I just waded through a bunch of the posts and posted a question myself. When I saw this section I thought it would be nice to tell you all a bit about myself too.

My name is Keith, I'm 25 and married for 2 years. I am currently attending college after wallowing in meaningless job after even more meaningless jobs. I am studying Business Administration/Accounting and I received my certificate in Business Information Technology last year and I was quite proud of myself! http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

I didn't really get into computers until about August of 1999. A friend of mine bought one, got online and I was hooked...but in a good way. I have since learned a few things about computers, but mostly basic software applications like Simply Accounting, AccPac+, Excel and Access. I really enjoy the online gaming experience though. I have been gaming since the days of the Atari 2600 (got mine Christmas of '84...memories). I still game a fair amount on my Playstation and looking forward to buying a PS2 in the summer.

My online gaming days are at a stand-still until I get out of school. Since I am a poor student now and on a budget, I can no longer afford my cable connection ($45 a month) so I have to resort to my free 56k dial up. Sniff...I was so damn spoiled with my speedy cable...my precious coaxal. But someday, I'll get it back.

I also love playing guitar and have been playing for 13 years. I was in a death metal band about 4 years ago but we broke up. Those were fun times. Sweating, swearing, screaming and headbanging in our little jam space.

I could go on for a lot longer but I'll finish this up. Expect to see me around a lot more. I really want to pop open my computer and see what's inside somedays but I am too scared of messing things up. I think a big step for me (but a joke to others) would be buying another stick of RAM and installing it myself. When I get the money, it's going to happen. And if I mess something up, you are sure to see me here begging for help and swearing that I'll never dig in and get my hands dirty again!

Wow Keith, Married at a young age, Ouch!!! Shoot, when I was 23 all I remember was waking up in Burbon street after passing out with a Bra on my head, and a number scribble on my hand.

The good ole days of being young!! Oh yes, it's good to have a family but well..... to each his own, I guess...

I could never imagin myself being tied down at that age!! I have too much fun being a bachalor and just go through relationships like Clinton go through his lies.

I say around 32 years old would be a fine time to get Hitched up... but I rather make mistakes now, then getting stuck with someone that will make me Hurl for the rest of my life!!

I don't believe in Divorce.. so... anyway DSL or cable is wonderful... Verizon has it for $30 a month, that's like sacrificing a case of Heinkein and couple of Nipers for fast access..

but in your case, it's more like brand name dish detergent..etc... ha, ha,

anyway have a good one...
