I'm taking an introductory course in Telecommunications and Network Fundamentals. Anybody know of sites where I can find data transmission rates on twisted pair, coax cable, fiber optics, radio, infrared, microwave, satellite and groung service? To include how long it would take to transmit and how far it can be sent. Thanks

I used the Google (http://www.google.com) search engine and pasted in data transmission rates on twisted pair, coax cable, fiber optics, radio, infrared, microwave, satellite, right from your question. This hit came up on the first page of returns. Google is a very slick search engine.
