That cartoon is hilarious and a sad sign of the times...

Don't take this the wrong way, but (knowing what bullets can do) it amazes me that more people don't get killed when these kids start shooting at school...

I'm glad more people don't get killed, but I wonder what prevents it...some of these kids were loaded for bear (eg Columbine) it's a miracle there weren't 2 or 3 times as many deaths...

That's Ok...finally got the kids on cable today...my turn is scheduled for next tuesday. I guess then I will be SOL for an excuse.

BTW, what do you 'game' online? I like Rogue Spear (Hired...you gotta get this one...just make sure it is the Platinum Pack with version 2.5 and the Urban Operations expansion pack)...gonna try some Unreal when the cable is in...Talked with Kayden about a few threads back in this forum.

UT and Tiberian Sun are the only games that I do online. I used to play Everquest but I got snippy paying $45 Canadian, every 3 months to play online.

I'm still raring to go and play some UT with you Bassvax! I also have a buddy that lives down the street from me that plays UT with me now and again. It would be cool to have a little gang from the PC Guide that meet every month or so and have a frag-fest!

I think it's a good idea. Any others interested? I know for a fact that UT is cheap in the stores. I bought it when it first came out and shelled out $54 +tax. Now I see it as cheap as 14 bucks. So if you like FPS'ers, have a fairly decent system and a cable or at least a 56k connection...we should all hook up!

I'll have to try that one bass...I wish there were more hours in the day, just not enough time to get everything in I'd like to do...

I still haven't played any Airfix Dogfighter online yet, which was one of the goals I set when I got it...4 months ago...

I got Black and White a month ago and still have only played it for about 2 hours...where does my time go???

I thought some would take it that way. I didn't intend to show it as kids shooting in school, it was meant as a sign of online gaming and the excuses you hear. Sorry if I offended anyone. I don't seem to be making any friends around here lately with my posting.

Im sure some people will take it the wrong way, but then again most talented and creative people are misunderstood.........the person responsible for this cartoon is probably running into these types of problems all over heh

I have a dedicated UT server btw for any of you guys talking about a frag fest, 5-6 users max though, but its usually enough for a private game.......anyone has more bandwidth then me and it gets to that, Id be happy to help with setting up a server if needed, or host a game sometime if a couple people wanna give it a try..........

it was a JOKE/ cartoon.... take a look @ MANY "socially acceptable" cartoons-ie. Beavis and Butthead, SIMPSONS, etc......

a cartoon is a cartoon.. surley we will have those that do not like PopEye and Brutus beating the (&^%^&()4@#$@ out of each other everytime they meet..... Politcally Correctness and all... ..pppppffffffttttttttttttt
