When my computer boots up, the following message appears:
OCR AWARE
INSTALL OCR AWARE SUPPORT FOR MICROSOFT OFFICE 97
What does it mean? How do I get rid of this message. Any

OCR normally stands for OPTICAL CHARACTER RECOGIITION and is software used when scanning a text document to turn it into for e.g a Word document so you can edit it instead of just been a bmp or jpg.
I am pressuming you have a scanner and software installed and Office sounds like it wants a plug in or some additional software, ifthe above sounds correct then post details of your scanner and software use for it.
PS: OCR software can be a bit IFFY but give it a try.
