Back to Christmas wishes...

I'm 52. I have a 5 1/2 year old and a 2 1/2 year old. Both girls. I love 'em with all my heart. (Our 2nd time family; other older 2 are grown up). So I wish I was about 30 years younger...for their sake. And I wish the older ones were still at home.
Why do I always want the things money can't buy?

We’re happily empty nesting hereabouts.
We keep the spare room filled with junk, so that our very much-loved sons cannot consider reestablishing residence.
Wouldn’t swap the Porsche for a perambulator in this lifetime.

Seriously, it’s nice that you can express your feelings. You made me think how important family is to each of us, but in our own way.

My wish is that none of our fine young’uns die in the muddled war in which we have found ourselves. Alas, my desire is impossible, but like you, I can wish.
