I read in this morning's paper that David Gilmour (PF Guitarist for those who may not know) sold his London house to Earl Spencer--brother of the late Princess Diana--for $6.48 million...then donated the entire amount to a charity...Crisis...a homeless helping organization.
What a trip, huh? It sure is nice to see the good news for a change http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

I got Pulse & Echoes for Christmas - I'm pretty sure the only two official Floyd LP's I don't have now are A Nice Pair and A Collection Of Great Dance Songs. I guess I'll get them someday just for the sake of finishing the collection off, even though there's no new music to be had on them...
I read somewhere that David's got a huge room with walls full of guitars, many of which he's only played once or twice. The quote was something like, "I get a guilty feeling about once a year that I should really be practicing more often. I'll go in, pick one of the wall, play for an hour or two, hang it back up, and come back about a year later." I think it was in an old Guitar World magazine I saved featuring Floyd.
Anyway, yeah, it's good to see such an admirable deed in the news. I'm proud to be a Floydian. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif
