Very Good Grasshopper! You did your homework I see. If it matters it's not an ego thing it's actually an experiment in human nature and you all passed the test. Very Good! Some studies have determined that people with higher IQ scores lack other social skills. And you all, for the most part I assume, are in the upper 80th percentile of the nation in IQ scores. As you could see tempers here flare more readily over what the general public would not give a second thought. ie--Juno#1, come on guys. Starting at mental retardation working clockwise to about 180 is where most people fit. 180 to about 250 is where you guys are,, this is the cream of the crop if you will. However, beyond 250 degrees on the scale, although very sophisticated intellectually, social skills begin to fail. Take Einstein for example, He at times would forget to take a bath or comb his hair, couldn’t tie his shoes; or refused to, and would not leave his home for days at a time. So you see it’s a fine line between Genius and RainMan. You guys are great and you do good things for people, just take it easy, I’d hate to see you banging your fists against your temples because Judge Wapner is coming on in 3 minutes and you don’t have a tv.

I know I take things too seriously, but people come here for help and if one cannot help or at least point toward help, I think one should keep out of it. Posts that deteriorate to squabbling back and forth "look" bad for this forum, I think, and are not helpful to the original questioner. If you manage once to actually help someone solve their computer problem, I think you will have a whole different perspective.

From the age of 8 & for many years I was known as the 'Professor' because I was always making or fixing things. In later years (on CB) I used the handle 'Grasshopper' from the program 'Kung Fu' as I was practicing the Art. Nowadays I am often called the 'Captain' as I am into boats & sailing.

I dont think test measure the ability of lot or things such as will , willingness to work hard, etc. Test are subjective not objective especially the ones your taliking about. If you were you gonna test us on things you would had started something out like yall people are idiots. I think now your trying to cover your self with the big master plan to make your self look smart. I have to agree with the idea that the results of your test are unsubstantiated due to the fact that it was total shock and surprise. You belittled inocent people, boasted with obviously pethetic personal information, and continued to harass after the initial blow.

You may have gotten your answer or justified your point to yourself, but you have not performed a very accurate examination. What was your control group? What parameters where you governed by? What variables could you have applied to these parameters, concidering the fact that you did not know anything real and true about your test group?

If this was for a grade, you deserve an F. You replayed an old and worn game. You achieved highly predictable results. And you did not perform your test under accurate, standardized conditions.

I don’t know many members writing styles so, I just did a few searches on the Kid's phrases. I like puzzles, sorry that it apparently added fuel to the fire. Plus, I cannot positively swear I know. But the evidence is piled high enough to warrant a denial from The Kid’s other self.

I don't believe that Kid is Vic:

1. Vic is in England, that can be gleaned from a number of his previous posts, especially the ones dealing with the virus/website problems...so the time differential for a number of Kid's posts would put them at strange times for England....

2. The Bundy's are characters on an American TV show, while not impossible, I think it unlikey that someone from England would have the intimate knowledge of that show to use it the way Kid did...

3. The answers to my weather questions, while not entirely reliable, given Kid's propensity to falsehood, do indicate an American perpetrator...one from the Southern or Central US to be exact (West Coast is not entirely out)...

4. That Kid is intelligent (not going to go so far to say genius), is a given...but it is of a devious nature (or at least leaning that way), and Vic has always seemed to me to be a more straightfoward type of person...

So, who do I think Kid is?

Well Kid is someone who has spent some time at least reading a number of posts here on this forum, who is familiar with a number of our "hot buttons", familiar with our writing styles and also has a familiarity with the workings of a UBB forum. KId did not make "newbie" mistakes, was familar with use of the edit function and is a proficient typist...

That narrows it down to just about anyone of the "regulars" and even a number of the newer members. I do know who is not the Kid (and I will not disclose that, yet...)

I find your actions, for whatever reasons you try to justify them to yourself by, to be totally reprehensible, and if like you say it was all an experiment, it was morally bankrupt and ethically unsound. And you are not Q (even if you were) and have no place to pass judgement, in jest, experimentally or otherwise on any of us here; by your own admission, we do good things for other people. So stirring up trouble and nearly causing an all-out flame war are counterproductive in the least, to that stated fact.
