View Full Version : Meaning Behind Your Handle - Just For Grins & Giggles Part @
OK...I have a partial of the previous thread posted here (http://www.dreamwater.org/tech/mjc/id%2070.htm), either going to try for a more recent version or see if I can get ahold of someone (ixl) to see about getting the rest back....so if you want to continue....do so in this one....the other one was getting pretty long anyway. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

I just love dogs. My mom raises sled dogs and I used to drive them when I was young. Now I have a purebred American Bulldog named Kenworth. I was trying to think up a name when I looked across the room at him and he let rip with a yawn that almost split his head in half. (He's got a mouth like a bear trap.) This always cracks me up, I don't know why. Thus my handle was born.
I guess it's a good thing all he did was yawn. I could have wound up with a pretty digusting handle. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/eek.gif

yawningdog: There's a New Mexico graphic dog used frequently that always reminds me of you. Someday will find it and send it along..you can use it for your "logo"..lol.

Well, I was the only person at my high school in Dumpwater, Idaho to pass the SATs I got an 840. The name Kid Genius just kind of stuck. I got accepted to Dumpwater community college but decided to pursue a career as a fast food manager.

Tried to register at a site once and every 'ordinary' name I put in
was already taken. Got so cheesed off so I put 'thingy' in and it was
accepted! So I've used it ever since and it's only been rejected once!

My unimaginative handle was supposed to be just Komski (contraction of surname) but I messed-up when registering; (so what's new! LOL). My dad was an inventor and a Patent Name he used was Kompit. One of his sayings was "Anything man has made can be repaired" - so he would not be in love with todays throwaway society - but would love this forum. He was going to make his fortune with Kompit; it was a machine for repairing ladders in ladies stokings - and it worked too! Trouble was it was WW2 and they were made of silk at the time. Then nylons came out and it was no longer economic to repair them, so he never made his millions!! You just have to be in the right place at the right time - jus' like WilGates was.

JBJ,
I just got one of these for Christmas after many many years of a four string.

But I was shown this site when this darn inanimate object was getting the best of me. I did one of these:

and found I was standing on a low shelf on the totem pole of PC know-how so I'm....Jus Ted.
