Just got a tentative job offer as a system administrator today...part of the interview process was a skills test on various computer related topics. The knowledge I have gained here definitely came in handy during the test...just wanted to thank all the great people here for their help and generosity...

If all goes well, I'll have my first real post-Marine Corps job...

A friend of mine thought that since there are no "ex-Marines" maybe we should be called "deactivated Marines"

I don't regret my time in the Corps, but I don't regret leaving either...

Used to have a top gunny working for me in test ops that referred to himself as "inactive". Said he'd done enough (deleted) running for one lifetime.
