I seek upon the wisdom of the After Hours Forum to pick their winner in the 1st annual...
PCG Bios Award for best motion picture of 2001
I only see one movie a year and in 2001 it was Freddie Got Fingered (which has been nominated for 5 Golden Rasberry Awards for worst picture). So my obvious pick is FGF...one heck of a movie (how can you go wrong with Rip Torn, my favourite actor?) which has done all Canadians proud to be sure.
Indulge...

Easy. Snatch.
It's dark, it's funny, it's cool. It has gangsters, illegal boxing, a jewel heist, Irish Gypsies, and the Russian mafia. It stars Brad Pitt, Benicio DelToro, Dennis Farina, and is directed by Guy Ritchie. (Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.) It has cool names like Brick top, Freddy "I've got a problem with gambling" four-fingers, Bullet-tooth Tony and Gorgeous George. And its got a cool dog.
If you like dark comedy like I like dark comedy, Snatch is a must-see!

Well this topic could certainly occupy me for several hours!!
However, i'd hyave to say that for me the most memorable movie was ID4; not becuase of it's effects or acting-but simply because i caught it on it's release here on July 3 rd, at 10:30 and when Bill pullman made his independance speech towrds the end, when we started kicking the Alien's butt's, it was 12:15 or so.
July 4th
Cool huh?! http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

I have to go with Monsters Inc. (I got kids http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/wink.gif )
I love Billy Crystal (remember Soap)
This movie was funny, sad, and downright good family entertainment.
And ya just gotta love outtakes on an animation http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/wink.gif
