smelly shoes!!!!

my lil sis keeps on putting my rubber nike's inside the box after i use them...the result: bad odor. the shoes stink! gosh!

any help or suggestion how ican get rid of the stench permanently? its ethereal! its a stench of decay!!!

Here'e some technical shoe advice -

Putting them in the box is probably what causes or at least multiplies the odor. Shoes need to air out to dry between wearing them. Try getting several pairs of Nikes so you can rotate them some. Even here in the arid climate of Colorado I always have at least three of sneakers to wear. Buying 3 pair at time makes them last a whole lot longer also.

Damn I'm giving sneaker advice maybe next it'll something about getting out grass stains.

make sure there is adequate ventilation in the case, drilling some more vent holes may help, then you need a large capacity fan, also a good psi unit, make sure there is plenty of room around the casing so that the flow is not restricted, make sure your lil sister is up to date or d/l a new one.

if that doesn't cure it RE-BOOT (with something other than rubber)

I hate it when i open the box to find a stench of decay.

I threw away the box...now she found another box! Argh! My mom never throws away the other shoe boxes!!!!!

"It's neat inside the box." --> who can argue with that...but it freakin smells! I have no time to buy new shoes etc etc within the next few weeks coz its hell month at work!!!!!!!!! GRAAAAAAAGHH!!!!!!!!!

Times like this I wish I had no work so I can attend to personal things...like buying new shoes.

guess what i did...i hung my smelly shoes on her bed post...that should teach her a lesson!!!!!!!!!

One good way of getting rid of the smell is to nuke them!!! I windsurf and the smell of the water and my feet means the neoprene boots stink!! Stick them in the microwave for 2 minutes on high!! Sounds like a hardware conflict to me. Running Nike 1.0 inside box 4.1 isn't something I would normally do. I suggest either running a good antivirus program or putting up a firewall to keep sister from hacking into your shoe files
