Ok. I was just in the chat room. Kinda dead but Sea was there. However there was a problem I could see and "hear" Sea. But he didn't seem to be able to see what I was typing. It's been a while since I used Mirc but I remember a setting that would not allow others to see you or see what your typing. Does anyone know what that setting is. Also could there be some sort of problem between the java client and Mirc?

I'm going to have to try to remember all the things you could do with Mirc and the IRC channels. I feel like a newbie and I use to be able to get around Bans,scan poeple's computers and stop them from doing the same thing to me. In some of the channels these skills were much needed http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

I think it's the Invisible setting you're talking about. I'll have top open it to find out where it is, can't remember. Never used it anyway...

If you're using a proxy you have to set it according to your proxy settings. Look through the options, you'll find a proxy setting section. I think it's under File\Setup in the Firewall tab. Try that and see, I can't remember what Socks setting works.
