Help, Please!I've been up most of the night searching for an answer, but obviously don't have a clue where to begin. My PCU at home had a,c,d & e drives. I defragged c and lost d. E was cd rom, now D is. Any simple way I can retrieve, with all the programs loaded there? I'm sick about this. If you can help, I'd appreciate it.Thx. Glorgiff
Can you explain what it means when you say you "lost" drive D? Defragging C will not make D disappear, so something else is going on.
Scanned for viruses recently?
Please describe your hardware in a bit more detial..

Thanks for your reply. When I boot up, windows is not finding that second hard drive. I reset Bios and got into more trouble. I think I just have to take it to someone. I thank you anyway. I did get that 2nd drive back for a while this morning. I tried to run scandisk on it and it froze. When I rebooted, it was gone again. Mind boggling to say the least.
