hard drive partition

Hello.. New here.. I installed a new slave in my pentium 3 500 and used partition magic to f disk.. It gave me a d drive of 4 gigs and an e drive of 12 gigs on the new 20 gig drive. where did the other 4 gigs go? can I remove the partion and make it one d drive of 20 gigs? Help please

Not sure where it went, but you can probably run Partition Magic again and try it. Should be able to make it one big partition, but get ready to spend hours when you run scandisk or defrag...

Boot to DOS, type "fdisk /status" and post the output here, and we might be able to help you better.
