IS THERE A WAY TO ERASE EVEYTHING ON HD AND START FRESH ALL OVER AGAIN
AS IF TO HAVE A NEW COMPUTER AND NOTHING ON IT IF SO PLEASE HELP

Depende on the machine. Some come with a restore disk on CD, if yours has one, use it. Compaq's store part of the BIOS on a partition on the hard drive, so if it's Compaq, definitely use the restore disk. It will set everything back to original condition.

To reinstall Windows, Boot to a Win 98 Start Up disk, choose Start Computer with CD ROM Support and change to the CD ROM drive, type setup
